Dear Mr. Nordh,

I understand you started and are maintaining an Internet Conference 
on clinical neurophysiology. I would appreciate very much if you 
could inform your group of the following:

At the 8th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology, held in 
Munich last October, Ljubljana, Slovenia was chosen as the place of 
the 1998 Congress.

The 9th ECCN will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, June 4-7, 1998.

Pleased to have been entrusted with such a demanding task, our 
Society of CN immediately started the preparations. A local 
organising committee, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Janez Zidar, MD DSc 
(with Assoc. Prof. David Neubauer, MD DSc, and Senior Research Fellow 
(Mrs.) Jelka Brecelj, DSc, as members) prepared a broad concept of 
the Congress and contacted all the delegates of the European Chapter 
of ICCN, asking for their Societies' comments and suggestions 
regarding the topics to be addressed either at the lectures or 
advanced courses.

We are grateful to all those who answered and/or sent their mailing 
lists.

On January 24th, Prof. Al W. de Weerd, MD, Secretary/Treasurer of the 
ICCN European Chapter, visited the local Committee and a proposal for 
the preliminary programme was discussed. First announcement of the 
Congress will be issued soon. It will be mailed individually to the 
members of the Societies, IFCN European Chapter members, who provided 
us with their mailing lists.

If you are interested in any aspect of the Congress, and especially 
if you do not receive the announcement by mid-March, please contact
